Make Folders is a script for Adobe After Effects that allows you to generate and automate folder structure. Type or paste names for your folder hierarchy in the edit field to create folders in the Project panel.
How to install
Script works with Adobe After Effects: 2014 and above. Download the Make Folders script ZIP file, unzip it, and copy/paste to the folder ScriptUI Panels in:
PC: Adobe\Adobe After Effects\Support Files\Scripts
MAC: Applications/Adobe After Effects/Scripts
Open Adobe After Effects or relaunch if it’s currently opened and check that ‘Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network’ is enabled. This option can be found at the Scripting & Expressions tab in Preferences.
How to use
To run the script, select it from the Window menu inside After Effects. Make Folders script can be used as a dockable panel or floating window.

To create a folder structure, write the name of each folder in a separate line. You can create subfolders by adding two (2) additional spaces at the beginning of a line. Subfolders can be nested even more by multiplying spaces by the level of nesting.
